Sorry for the double mail tonight, but I wanted to mention a new venture of mine separately. This is a long email, but it's worth the trip.

It's called Toy-Pix, and it's a relatively simple idea - autographed photos of your favorite figures, busts and statues. The artists that sculpt, paint and design these pieces have become more famous in recent years, and at shows and conventions, having them sign the toy packaging is getting more and more popular. That's can be a problem though, since a) you have to keep the thing packaged, making it tough for openers; b) you need the space to display the packaging to make it worthwhile; c) you have to haul and appropriate toy (or sometimes, huge bust or statue) to the event to get it signed; d) and in the end, you have to actually attend one of the events to make it possible.

That's where Toy-Pix come in. These are high quality, 8x10 glossy photos, similar to headshots of actors or famous personalities, that are signed by the artists. Each one comes with a COA on the back, the artist's signature on the front, and a short bio page included so you get to know a little more about them. They are also a limited edition in and of themselves, each numbered on the COA affixed to the back of the photo.

The photos will be released in waves, with various artists involved with each wave. This first series consists of seven photos signed by 10 different artists - Mr. Burns from the World of Springfield signed by the sculptor, Eddy Mosqueda; Ardeth Bay from the Sideshow Universal Monsters line, signed by the sculptor Brian Dooley; Galactus, the Marvel Legends build-a-figure signed by the paint master Eddie Wires; the Cigarette Smoking Man from the Sideshow X-Files line, signed by the sculptor Andy Bergholtz; Super Grover, from the Palisades Sesame Street line, signed by the sculptor Bill Mancuso; Johnny Fiama, from the Palisades Muppets line, signed by the designer Ken Lilly; and Trapjaw, from the Mattel Masters of the Universe line, signed by not one but all four of the Four Horseman!

Each of the photos comes in a archival quality plastic sleeve, and shipping in the continental U.S. is absolutely free. And to top it all off, a portion of sales will be donated to Toys for Tots, thanks to the generosity of the artists involved!
